The ACCESS Anniversary Dinner honors our roots and unwavering commitment to our communities while highlighting all that we have worked for to accomplish our vision for the future. The evening promises to be a memorable night that highlights our cultural heritage and the achievements of people in our communities by honoring our 2025 Arab American of the Year, Dr. Rami Nashashibi. Dr. Nashashibi is a Palestinian American community activist, academic, artist, and founding Executive Director of Chicago-based nonprofit Inner-City Muslim Action Network (IMAN) which advances social justice, delivers a wide range of direct services, and cultivates the arts in urban communities. He is the recipient of several prestigious community service awards, including a 2017 MacArthur Fellowship, and his work has been featured on national and international media outlets.
