SURA Arts Academy - Fall 2020: Beginner's Course

The Arab American National Museum (AANM) invites youth (ages 11-18) to explore their world through the lens of photography during our 10-week online photography program! Participants will share stories about their lives, community, culture, while incorporating elements of social justice, journalism and empowerment. This semester's theme is telling your story in the year 2020.
This year's program will take place online - through a Zoom call - with students meeting once a week on Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m. No experience necessary. Students are encouraged to use their own cell phones to take photos during the course. For students who do not have access to a cell phone, the AANM will provide digital cameras. Our programming team will get in touch with you about details upon registering.
Deadline to register is Friday, October 2nd at 5 p.m.
